OFFICES
There are 10 Regional Centres located at Delhi, Chandigarh, Bhopal, Lucknow, Guwahati, Calcutta, Ranchi, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai and two Sound & Light Units at Delhi and Bangalore.
The Deputy Director is the head of the Regional Centre and has also been declared as Head of Office. He exercises administrative and financial control and discipline in the Regional Centres and over the Sub-Centres under him.
The Regional Deputy Directors are assisted by one Administrative Officer, Accountant/Technical Assistant and supporting administrative staff. With the decentralisation of budgeting and accounts, the responsibility of the Regional Deputy Directors in the regions in exercising financial and administrative control has increased and they have to organise and exercise proper control over publicity programmes financial resources.
